Humidifier

I cried and cried and

Cried and cried and cried

And cried and cried and cried

And cried and cried and cried and

Cried until I cried so much I thought

For surely I was bleeding out

And that I would die and then

It became especially clear that

No one was listening and

Even if they heard they

Didn’t care that I was crying so I

Gathered my tears and

I bought a

Humidifier.

I dumped them and

Waited for the cloud to form

Now I live up high, alone

Away from here, on a cloud of

My own tears, but at least this way

I can’t see how little they care.
