… That Was Porn?!

This movie

Ain’t no fucking way

When you watch a movie

With a plot and an arc

That portrays your life’s most

Intimate moments in the dark

With cadence and flow and a

Message to the most confused parts of your heart—

That’s art! Not explicit.

A Michelangelo is a naked penis—

But nobody tries to censor him!

Well, I’m sure some do— but they shouldn’t

What is the difference

Between a movie you see in a theater

And a movie you see while stroking your business—?

Censorship !

That’s about it.

I don’t know why this was

So hard for me to see until I saw

Shine Louise Houston’s work but

Regular movies are censored within an inch of their meaning

Who even fucking knows what we should’ve been seeing

Why are people so damn afraid of nudity

Vulnerability, reality?

Why was this the first time

I’ve ever seen a movie represent

An awkward sexual moment that actually happened to me?

That wasn’t violent, or fetishized brutality?

Why is there so little representation

Of humans actually fucking, talking and

Trying to come? Emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Why is it that this porn —

This movie with footage of nudity —

Is unable to be mainstream? Just because

It didn’t end-scene when they started kissing?

That’s completely ridiculous

Life doesn’t happen like that

Why is it that this film is pornography

And Aquaman is not?!?!?

Also why is it that mainstream pornography

Goes as far away from reality as possible ?!?

When reality is twice as hot?!?!?

What the actual fuck

I have to drop the mic it’s too much.
